About BPCRS, Bangladesh

Bangladesh Primary Care Respiratory Society – (BPCRS) is a charity organization for the primary care health professionals of Bangladesh who are interested in the management of respiratory diseases in the community.

Our aim is to improve the respiratory care in our community by educating primary health care professionals and providing best evidence based care to people who are suffering from respiratory diseases within our resources.


Our mission is to protect, promote and improve the lung health of all Bangladeshi and their families through community-based primary care service, giving special attention to at-risk and vulnerable populations.


Our vision is to achieve a future in which all the Bangladeshi and their family will enjoy reasonable lung health with optimal medical care in their respiratory diseases.


We will keep up the values of

  • Communication with the people i.e. to understand the patient as a whole
  • Liaison with our secondary and tertiary care colleagues for better solution and developing a two way referral system
  • Respect to the patient’s concern and colleagues opinion.

Strategic Approach:

Our Strategy is to raise the personal value of primary care physicians in respect to knowledge, skill and practice behavior. Accordingly we are committed to provide better evidence-based care to our patients and their family.
